Eight-channel, high-performance, Dual-Array MicroPiezo AMC print head produces a maximum resolution of 1440 x 1440 dpi with a droplet size as small as 3.7-picoliter and features a new ink repelling coating technology to dramatically reduce nozzle clogging.

True Production Level Print Speeds

Print at everyday production speeds up to 180 square feet an hour or banner-quality print speeds of up to 340 square feet an hour. Included with the GS6000 is ColorBurst Professional Production RIP, an entirely new, full-featured Postscript Language Level 3™ compatible RIP and Print server. In addition to robust layout functionality, the RIP is Pantone® licensed for accurate spot color matching, offers support for ICC output profiles and incorporates a new multi-threaded/multi-processing architecture for extremely fast job processing.

Media Flexibility

Epson's Variable-sized Ink Droplet and MicroWeave half-toning Technologies deliver fast-drying, scratch-resistant printsthat are water and UV resistant for up to 1.5 years without lamination. Professional roll media handling up to 64" and a wide range of leading solvent media including outdoor banners, billboards, automotive and bus wraps.

Less Harmful Impact on Worker Health and the Environment

Epson UltraChrome™ GS ink is virtually odorless with less harmful VOCs (volatile organic compound) and is the first major eco-solvent type ink set to be launched without the need for a hazard symbol. As additional ventilation isn’t required, it can be situated in the most convenient location for the business. These inks also use no Nickel (Ni) compounds which minimizes special handling requirements.

Intelligent Preventative Maintenance System

Epson has focused on significantly reducing the need for time-consuming daily operator maintenance thus increasing available production time. Four-mode automatic cleaning system maintains optimum print quality and integrates simple user-focused maintenance process for less downtime.
