Produce archival prints with amazing color fidelity, gloss level, and scratch resistance, while providing consistently stable colors and black-and-white prints with even higher density levels. Using Epson UltraChrome K3™ ink technology, now enhanced with new Vivid Magenta pigments, the Stylus Pro 11880 requires only eight colors to significantly raise the quality levels. Vivid Magenta allows pro shooters to consistently produce prints with a wider color gamut beyond anything that was previously possible with an archival inkjet printer.
The highly developed MicroPiezo TFP print head features a new ink repelling coating technology to dramatically reduce nozzle clogging while precisely controlling the curvature of every ink droplet before releasing it onto the media. Ejecting approximately 40,000 droplets of ink per second, it offers a maximum resolution of 2880x1440 dpi for incredibly sharp text and line art.
Continuing to set the standards for media use, the Stylus Pro 11880 is capable of handling any media type, in roll or cut-sheet, up to 64-inch wide and up to 1.5-mm thick. To enhance productivity even further and minimize paper, the Stylus Pro 11880 can print a barcode and text on partially used paper rolls to record how much paper is left and what type of media it is, allowing users to confidently switch between paper types and rolls for different jobs. For production environments where time is a valuable commodity, this printer delivers substantial time savings and greater revenue opportunities.
