Epson UltraChrome K3™ ink technology represents a defining moment in the history of ink jet printing. Based on the newest-generation of pigment ink, Epson UltraChrome K3 ink incorporates eight new color pigments, including a new three-level black technology, dramatically raising the bar for professional color and black and white prints.

The all new MicroPiezo®AMC™ print heads feature 180 nozzles per channel for a higher level of ink droplet accuracy and an Auto Head Alignment and Cleaning Technology. This built-in sensor automatically aligns the 8-channel print head for extremely accurate dot placement and is so effective, it can even detect when a print head is getting dirty and automatically clean if needed.
