Epson UltraChrome K3 ink is the standard by which other professional-level ink technologies are judged. Enhanced with new Vivid Magenta pigments, this new-generation ink technology requires only eight colors, including a three-level black system, to significantly raise the quality levels for professional color and black-and-white prints. The new formulation of Magenta pigments make for extreme color gamut, especially within the blues and purple ranges. AccuPhoto™HD Screening Technology results in prints with superior color and clarity, with an almost three-dimensional look.
The all new MicroPiezo®AMC™ print heads feature 180 nozzles per channel for a higher level of ink droplet accuracy and an Auto Head Alignment and Cleaning Technology. This built-in sensor automatically aligns the 8-channel print head for extremely accurate dot placement and is so effective, it can even detect when a print head is getting dirty and automatically clean if needed.
This latest wide-format printer has a unique front-loading, straight through paper path for printing on virtually any media up to 24" or 44" wide - up to 1.5 mm thick. Capable of printing off both left and right edges of roll based media, while automatically cutting top and bottom edges to produce a full-bleed print on all four sides.
Be prepared to create exhibition-quality, neutral or toned, black-and-white prints or superior color consistency proofs day after day.
