DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT

With hundreds or thousands of objects, pictures, artwork, text and other digital elements being utilized daily, efficient asset management is a must in any digital workflow. Storage, transmittal, archiving and valuing an object are an important part of protecting digital assets and in turn financial assets. Receiving training on these subjects, as well as software and hardware you will be using to achieve your asset management goals is an investment opportunity you can't go without.

COLOR MANAGEMENT

Predictable color is achievable from input, to viewing, to output, with the right software, hardware and training. But color management is is not plug and play - you must master it before it works for you. Optimize workflow efficiency by having accurate color throughout the creative process through color management software and hardware training from Global Imaging. This training can be purchased with color management software and hardware, or alone. Training includes implementation, color managed workflow and profiling.

DIGITAL PHOTO TRAINING - 1 DAY

The first day of digital photo training includes basic coverage on each of the following items; camera operations and functionality, implementing a digital workflow in your environment, and color management for your new digital workflow. For additional training such as hands-on shooting or "studio customized" training, purchase a 2-day package. Due to the large amount of information being covered, we recommend groups of more than 3 people add additional training days.

Our trainer will interview the trainees prior to the training, to assure the training is customized to exactly what you need and you receive maximum return for your dollar.

DIGITAL PHOTO TRAINING - 2 DAY

Day 1 - Camera Operations, Workflow, Basic Color Management as outlined above. Day 2 - Hands on shooting and training customized to your studio demands. Beyond the first basic day, this is where you will really get your hands on the equipment. You will challenge the new workflow and your understanding of digital technology, with an excellent trainer by your side to walk you through. These additional days can also cover subjects such as lighting for digital. Due to the large amount of information being covered, we recommend groups of more than 3 people add additional training days.

PRINTER SYSTEM TRAINING - 1 DAY

Because every print production environment's primary printing markets and applications being used are vastly different, print system training cannot be defined in a paragraph. This training will be customized to meet the needs of each customer's environment. Some training examples include: total system training, specific product use training, color management workflow, productivity optimization, digital asset management, lamination training and application training. Groups larger than 3 people require additional days to cover the same amount of information.

ADDITIONAL DAYS

Additional training may be added to any package for more time, intensity, number of people or subject coverage.

WEB-BASED TRAINING

Software training may be performed remotely via the Internet. Billed at $90 per person logged in, per hour. This is a terrific and cost effective way to receive professional training without travel expenses, and at your own desk! We will send you a link to the meeting web site, and provide you with a phone number. This is totally interactive training. You will be viewing a live screen of the application that we control at our site.

TRAINING COSTS
