Monti Antonio piece to roll calenders are ideal for pre-cut apparel production as well as high volume display graphics and decor. Piece to roll calenders, also known as rotary heat presses, offer more flexibility than a roll to roll calender and higher productivity than a piece to piece heat press.

Piece to roll calenders operate in three different ways:

  1. Load and run an entire roll of direct printed fabric
  2. Load a roll of transfer paper and sublimate to a roll of fabric
  3. Load a roll of transfer paper and sublimate to pre-cut fabric pieces

Like all Monti Antonio calenders, the piece to roll calenders will boost productivity in any shop with their digital controls, programmable settings, flexibility and efficiency.

  • Although outfitted with a feed table for pre-cut pieces, these are precise roll-to-roll dye sublimation calenders that use an oil-heated drum for even heat. The computerized interface provides automation for startup time, profiles and precise pressure and timing.


    • All movements are controlled with independent, synchronized motors, avoiding the chain or pulley systems used by competitors that create unpredictable variables from job to job.
    • A central resistor heating system, patented by Monti Antonio, within the oil-filled drum guarantees perfect uniformity of temperature over the entire surface of the cylinder, maintaining an extremely low electrical consumption.
    • The vacuum-sealed drum cannot leak unlike end-cap systems that eventually wear out.
    • Special motors for automatic, constant tension for printing and protection paper at the exit of the machine.
    • Built-in alert system in case of power loss or compressed air loss.
    • PLC program for setting machine start-up and shut-down times as well as settings for specific papers.
