Global Imaging Launches a Photo Assitant Training Program

Beginning in February 2009, Global Imaging and PhotoSpace Denver will be hosting trainings on the third Wednesday of every month for Denver area photo assistants. This training is designed to make assistants more valuable in the market by giving them the opportunity to stay completely current on the newest equipment from the industrys most important manufacturers. Each month the manufacturers themselves will not only be at the training, but they will be there to perform the actual training for the attendees.

The trainings are to be held for two hours from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Interested assistants can register on our Events page. Registration should be done early as the sessions will be limited to 15 attendees, so that the best possible training can be accomplished.

All equipment that will be used for training is available through Global Imagings rental program. A Rental Catalog can be downloaded in our rental section.

The launch schedule for the trainings are:

February 25th, Phase One will perform the training on their newest back, the P65+ and the Capture One 4.6 software.
March 18th, Mamiya and Profoto will perform the training on the Profoto 8a power pack.
April 15th, Leaf will perform the training. The equipment mix is still TBD
May 20th, The training will be determined by the attendees of the first three sessions
